We awoke this morning to blowing snow and 18 degrees! The snow is beautiful, and we're fortunate to be snug and warm inside. Parts of I-40 are closed in the area and people are being asked to stay off the roads. We drove our ranger down the hill to get a few of these pics...it was a quick trip!
Santa will return for a visit to PVP on Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, Dec. 2. Our packages start at only $69, and we're already scheduling appointments! Call today to set a time for your little one(s) to visit Santa in their jammies or their Christmas best!
Here's our barbecue team, Pogo's Porkers, with our 2nd place trophy for Brunswick Stew (thanks, Sherri!) which we won at the 2008 Big Pig Jig in Vienna, GA...lots of fun and lots of good barbecue!
Here's the adorable couple whose wedding we had the pleasure of videotaping on October 12th in Ward, CO, just north of Boulder. The first snow of the season fell the night before the wedding, so we enjoyed beautiful scenery while we were there.
Here are a few photos from the Gram Parsons Guitar Pull, held at the Fairgrounds on Sept. 26-27. We heard so MANY great bands...if you haven't attended in the past, give it a try next year.
During our recent trip to God's country (western North Carolina), we hired a great guy named Happy Queen trim some trees enough to open a view. Here are the before and after photos...quite a change! Now it's even HARDER to head back south!
Here's Marla, a beautiful senior from BCHS who plans a career in physical therapy.

It has been a fantastic week here in western North Carolina...trees and flowers in bloom and a wonderfully cool climate! Just a couple of snapshots for your enjoyment...the clematis blooms right outside our door and the lake is a few miles away enroute to Waynesville!
Talk about amazing places, here's the venue for our latest wedding and a shot of our adorable couple. Rain threatened, but at the last minute, the clouds broke and the weather was PERFECT!
Haven't had a chance to post images from our wedding of March 29, so here's a sample...wonderful families, beautiful couple and very spiritual ceremony. This was held at the Bridal Barn near Hickox, GA.
These flowers in front of the Waynesville sign were just too pretty to pass up! The weather was in the blissful 60s most days during our visit, but at this writing, it's 34 degrees and dropping with snow flurries...and yes, it's APRIL 13th!
"Magic is a sudden opening of the mind to the wonder of existence. It is a sense that there is much more to life than we usually recognize; that we do not have to be confined by the limited views that our family, our society, or our own habitual thoughts impose on us; that life contains many dimensions, depths, textures, and meanings extending far beyond our familiar beliefs and concepts." _John Welwood
