The majority of our visit this time was spent inside because it RAINED outside! Of course, since NC is still in drought conditions, we're not really complaining, especially since we have a view like this from the back porch!
This morning, St. Patrick's Day, we awoke to BEAUTIFUL sunny weather...even the daffodils are up and smiling!
We drove out to Max Patch and hiked up to the top with friends...magnificent views! Met this duo, sisters from Chicago hiking the AT. It was a wonderful day!

Thanks for taking our daughters' picture. It is a great picture and was so good to see them. They enjoyed meeting you and said the view from Max Patch was fabulous.
